Physics for kids!

So we managed to convince our son how important it is to wash his hands ! :)
Physic can be fun! :)

Aren tells a story

Here Aren tell's a tale , which he invented himself !

Let'Spend some energy!

This is one of the best inventions created especially for moms who want to relax while their child spends energy. It has been proven through experience that then children are visibly more relaxed and happy. Mothers also. :)

Football :)

Aren tried to play football, I'm trying to shoot, but he did not stop to worry about his unbuttoned shirt :)

Little Latin Dancer - Aren

Two years Aren attended in Latin dance group. At the end of the year young dancers showed their skills to parents. It was fun for us as parents, our son was very happy too.
This year he  had to choose which two courses to attend, because for us as parents is not financially profitably to be  in all groups :) I hope you understand me right!

Retro weekend!

At the end of March last year , BDZ started running a retro steam engine train between the capital Sofia and the suburb of Bankya.
The train's engine has been used for a number of movies and entertainment trips. In September 1989 it had served the famous "Orient Express" while the latter was passing through Bulgaria. The engine has been made in 1953 in Switzerland.
We decided that this is a great opportunity to show our son what it feels like to travel by train. To make it memorable for him and fun for us , we decided to make retro images and also use some vintage accessories. We laughed a lot...and especially of the surprised stares of other passengers. It was a very emotional day.

The most romantic holiday ever!

Romance in The Granary House

:) Sometimes architecture, like novels and movies, tells stories.Kostenkovtsi village with "The 4 houses" is located in the northern hills between the towns of Gabrovo and Dryanovo. The beauty of the countryside here is really lavish, while each stone and every turn keep evidence of Bulgarian history, signs of cultural achievements by people of several civilisations. The houses are reconstructed old buildings from a typical Kostenkovtsi village yard – a residential building, a granary, a summer kitchen, and a barn. The old times' heritage has been kept alive as much as to give the soul of an otherwise contemporary vision. Tradition has been respected and brought to life, but not mummified.
The former barn has been re-created as a temple of beautiful spaces and cosiness. The white bedroom is on the level of the central entrance, placed in an atrium above the kitchen and living room. The living room sofa can be extended. The house is a space, seemingly created as a playground for the light that pours in from the east, south, west, from above and from below. An antique mirror, transformed into a living room table, reflects the sunrays that descend from the ceiling, refracted by the beams of the roof construction. One corner of the living room accommodates a "Chudo" (Miracle) woodstove which adds heat to cosiness on colder days. The window-door to the south porch, more than 3 m tall, turns the garden's fruit-trees into a painting as part of the interior. The small kitchen and dining room are in the colours of acacia trees.I personally recommend you to visit this place. Me and my family had an incredibly romantic weekend together.

A summer to remember!!!

This was one of our best summer vacations. North coast is very beautiful. I confess at the beginning I was very skeptical of the north Bulgarian coast. Now I'm in love with the north coast and I would not replace it with the southern. The north beaches are kilometers long and there are no people and tourists. You will not have the usual crowd. None can experience thousands of merchants trying to sell you absolutely useless things. If you have a child, then you will be able to show the beauty of pure wilderness. No umbrellas , no lounges, no ice cream on the beach ( no lifeguards as well on some beaches outside your hotel , so be careful ). At the same time you will have the comfort and luxury of your hotel ( nice deluxe room, very good restaurant with delicious food  and you can even play golf if you wish so) , who will probably be the only one for miles around. And it will save you the feeling that you are in an area of neighborhoods with many residents as it is usualy in the big resorts and cities. When there are no noisy bars, no shops, no children's play centers , all that anytime you can find in Sofia. Then you realize that there are so many other things that your family can do together. You realize that silence can speak. You learn how much fun it is to tell stories to your child under the stars! How much you can share with your husband .And how civilization and modernization does not save time, but instead lose your precious time. The illusion that we build a career blind us and we actually destroy human lives. Is it worth everything we are striving for in our lifes?

It was fabulous summer :)

Whatever I say it would be not good enough, not pretty enough and could not describe the whole range of emotions we've experienced. The song and the pictures speak in this case better than any words. I love this place, I love these kids, I love these people. I grew up with them and from them I learned a lot. Thank you XXXA

There Aren became 4 years old and we could celebrate his b-day .The biggest surprise was Monique's proposal to visit the Zoo.Castellar Zoo is a rescue centre for all sorts of animals .Unfortunately many of the animals taken in by Castellar Zoo have had a very bad start in life. Some have been seized from smugglers attempting to move them across borders in tiny boxes or cages, and others rescued from circus troops. Some were exotic pets being traded on the black market while others are slightly more domestic species. They allowed the children to feed the Madagascar monkeys and some other residents.Anyway, for us was unforgettable.
